Technology is great. Eye couldn't bee without it. When eye look back in my notebooks and sea the kind off things eye used to produce as first drafts, I'm amazed they ever maid it past that stage and into finished pieces of writing. Some of them wood require a code key to work out the hieroglyphics!
Their can be drawbacks with this kind of technology however. For example it isn't quite as portable as a notebook, ewe can't just put it in your pocket, ready to write in when the inspiration hits you. Another thing is the spell-cheque. As long as the word is spelt correctly then the computer thinks that the word is correct. It is not able to cheque context. Sum words have different spelling but sound the same - a concept unknown to most computers, although some of the more up-too-date ones can identify the more popular of them. Sew whilst it is easier to right on these machines, ewe still need to proof-read yore material manually, or it May bee rejected on the grounds that what you have submitted just doesn't make sense.
Enjoy the wonders of the modern age, and the easier life it allows ewe two have, but don't forget, they're is no substitute fore good old-fashioned proofing. Otherwise ewe cud find yore document lucks like this!
